Going For 10 Generations In The Sims 4: Part 4

Previously: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Halfway into the 1950s, things are going well for the Miranda family.

Raymond gets a big hug from his grandpa, Henry...

Angela becomes a teen...

Stella's brother, Alan, who made it home safely from the war (in case anyone was worried) comes by for a visit... and a dance with Roger. Perhaps they're celebrating the house's new carpets!

Left to right: Angela, Roger, Raymond, Stella, and Michael

Now we're going to skip forward a few years. In the meantime, please enjoy this family tree...

Now in his 20s, Michael has moved out on his own...

He's been playing the field...

But it's a woman named Marie who eventually wins his heart.

They soon get married and start a family....

Michele is their first daughter...

And soon Marie is pregnant again.

Alison is their second...

Michele takes after Mom in looks...

While Alison resembles Dad...

Baby #3 follows soon after. They name her Kimberly...

Kimberly is a grumpy child...

With three daughters and another on the way, things are a bit hectic....

Kimberly tends to fall asleep in places that are not beds....

Daughter #4, Erica, arrives just as the 1970s begin. (Should we change that wallpaper yet? Nah, it can stick around for a few more years....)

A new baby in the house does nothing to change Kimberly's attitude toward life...

Alison begins school...

Erica learns to walk and talk...

Appliances always seem to be breaking, but luckily both Michael and Marie have gotten good at repairs.

Michele and Erica enjoy a new dollhouse...

Alison is a creative kiddo...

No Sim is ever happy about posing for a family portrait, but it must be done!

Michael's younger half-brother Raymond has remained close to the family all these years. No one minds his hair... much.

Erica becomes an active child...

Michele enters her awkward teen years...

As the 80s begin, some of the rooms in the house get made over a bit....

Alison joins her older sister in teenhood...

Meanwhile, a ghost cat has been haunting the neighborhood, so Michele finds a way to bring her back to life.

This is, admittedly, a freaky thing to do, but it's the Sims and it's a cat, so we're doing it.

Alison, meanwhile, starts fires....

The aftermath...

Michele is no stranger to trouble herself. Somehow she winds up stuck under the stairs. I literally have to break down a wall to free her.

Soon all four girls are teens -- left to right: Michele, Alison, Kimberly, and Erica

In previous generations, the oldest child has taken on the role of matriarch/patriarch of the next generation, but I think it's time to do something different this time. I'm going to use a random number generator to decide which of these gals will extend our family tree.

Will it be Michele, the daring social butterfly?

Or Alison, the artistic spirit who has a tendency to start fires?

Or Kimberly, the once-grumpy toddler who now has questionable taste in fashion?

Or Erica, the rambunctious scamp with the gnarly perm?

To be continued...
