Going For 10 Generations In The Sims 4: Part 5

It's the late 80s, and the four Miranda sisters of Generation Six - Michele, Alison, Kimberly, and Erica - are looking for love.

And it's going... well, pretty terribly, actually.

They celebrate Erica's birthday at a local nightclub and invite lots of single guys...

But the only ones who interact with the ladies are... the guys they're related to.

Also this random lady is there, making horrible faces and killing the mood...

At least Ghost Lady seems to be enjoying herself!

This party's a bust. Time to go home.

A week later, the ladies host a gathering at home...

This guy, Justin, seems pretty cool....

After coming into some money, the sisters purchase a new house and move in there together...

They throw themselves a housewarming party...

In the photo below, you can see a few of the potential mates guys I've created invited to town. On the far left, in the light blue shirt, there's Joel. In the brown jacket, Craig. Next to Craig, there's Gary. And on the far right, Justin.

At the next gathering, Erica begins to connect with Justin...

They then go on a date together...

I think we may have just witnessed this generation's first love match!

Yep. It's official.

And they're not alone!

Michele and Joel have also fallen for each other....

Meanwhile, Kimberly's attempts to woo Craig have been hindered by the ever-looming presence of her mother.

Eventually it's the cat, Honey, who puts her paw down when it comes to Craig...

"He's no good for you, Kimberly!"

That seals the deal. Craig's gotta go.

Meanwhile, Alison gets acquainted with Gary...

Big news! Marie, you're going to be a grandma... twice! Erica and Michele are both expecting!

Annnd so's Alison...

Now if only there were such a man for Kimberly. But alas. I created four guy Sims for these ladies. Three are spoken for. One is Craig. And the random ones the game generates all look like some variant of this guy...

Not today, Mr. Ismay.

It's baby time....

It's a boy for Michele and Justin! They name him Ryan.

He is NOT a fan of Grandma...

It's a girl for Michele and Joel! They name her Kayla.

Alison is due any day now...

It's a boy for Alison and Gary! This is Devon...

The house is feeling pretty crowded, now...

Alison proposes to Gary, and he accepts!

Justin, Ryan, Erica, Devon, Gary, and Alison move into the house next door....

Remaining in the first house are Honey (the cat), Kimberly (now a redhead), Joel, Kayla, and Michele.

Hey, hey, it's the mid-90s, and we have a computer... inside the house!

So.

Erica is married to Justin.

Alison is married to Gary.

Michele and Joel are together.

Now it's time to focus on our girl Kimberly!

After some depressing encounters at the nightclub...

... I finally cave and create some new guys for her invite some new guys to town....

Meet Tyler and Chris...

Chris seems the most promising...

All right, so Kimberly and Chris are dating now.

Meanwhile, things have gotten rocky between Joel and Michele...

After a particularly nasty fight, Michele kicks him out of her room...

He eventually moves out of the house entirely, but the two remain friends for their daughter, Kayla's, sake.

In happier news, Chris and Kimberly are getting married!

As 1999 draws to a close, Kimberly and Michele host a New Years' Eve bash with a black & white theme...

Okay, who invited Craig?^

Chris and Kimberly share a kiss as they ring in the year 2000....

A new millennium is on the horizon, and the future is looking bright.
