National Zoo (Washington, D.C.)

The National Zoo in Washington, D.C., is one of only a handful of zoos in the United States that keep pandas. I had never seen a panda, and I wanted to very much. In fact, I was prepared to stalk the Panda exhibit at the National Zoo until I saw one, even if that meant coming back to the zoo on multiple days. But that turned out not to be necessary, as I got to see one on the morning of my first visit! Yay!

PandaCam! Mama panda and newish-born baby, who's not yet ready to venture outside.

Non-Cammed Panda... even better!

I was impressed by this zoo. It's larger than I thought it would be!

I had a great day. A+, National Zoo!
